All databases from SilverPlatter are available via two Web interfaces: an advanced JavaScript format that requires a Javascript enabled browser, or, a simple HTML based format that works with any browser. The JavaScript format offers a few more functions, but both services offer access to the exact same databases and use the same logins.
If you have a JavaScript enabled browser and would like to use the advanced features of the new service, use WebSPIRS 5, otherwise, please continue to use WebSPIRS 3.1.
To obtain a password to search the library's electronic indexes, you must be a current student or a faculty/staff member and adhere to the licensing agreement.* In addition, you must adhere to copyright law. A single paper or electronic copy of each search output may be made. Output may not be sold, distributed or commercially exploited.
*The user may not share the password with any other individual and may only employ the password while he/she is a current student, faculty, or staff.
